Terms & Conditions
Last updated 9 August 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and the Colossal Arena team about your use of Colossal Arena. Please read them - they include limits on our liability and rules that, if you break them, can cost you your account.
1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account, signing in or otherwise playing Colossal Arena("the Game"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
2. Who may play
You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only play with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the Game. You must not use the Game if you are barred from doing so under any applicable law, or if we have previously terminated your account.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information when you register, and keep your email address current.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@colossalarena.com if you think it has been compromised.
- Do not share, sell, buy, rent, gift or transfer accounts. Accounts are personal to you and are licensed, not owned.
- Usernames must not impersonate another person, imply official status, infringe anyone's rights, or contain slurs, obscenity or hateful content. We may reclaim or rename a username that breaks this rule.
- You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
4. Your licence to play
We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to access and play the Game for your own private, non-commercial entertainment. That licence lasts only as long as these terms are in force, and it does not transfer any ownership in the Game to you.
5. Rules of conduct
While using the Game, you agree not to:
- Cheat, or use bots, macros, scripts, automation, memory editors, modified clients, packet manipulation or any third-party software that gives an unfair advantage.
- Deliberately abuse bugs, duplication glitches or other exploits instead of reporting them.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, scrape, data-mine or attempt to derive the source code of the Game, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction.
- Interfere with the Game's servers or networks, including denial-of-service attacks, flooding, unauthorised access attempts, or circumventing rate limits or security measures.
- Harass, threaten, stalk, defame or bully other players; post hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent or otherwise unlawful content; or spam, advertise or phish in chat.
- Impersonate another player, a moderator or a member of our team.
- Collect other players' personal information, or share someone's private information without their consent.
- Sell, trade or attempt to monetise accounts, in-game currency, items or services for real-world value.
- Use the Game for any illegal purpose, or in breach of any law that applies to you.
We may investigate suspected breaches and take any action we reasonably consider appropriate, including removing content, resetting progress, muting, suspending or permanently terminating accounts, with or without notice.
6. Content you submit
"Your Content" means anything you submit through the Game: chat messages, usernames, house and base layouts, bug reports, contact messages, feedback and suggestions. You keep whatever ownership rights you already have in Your Content. By submitting it, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt and distribute Your Content for the purpose of operating, moderating, promoting and improving the Game.
You confirm that you have the right to submit Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or break any law. We do not pre-screen content, but we may remove or moderate anything at our discretion. Feedback and suggestions you send us may be used freely and without obligation or compensation to you.
7. Virtual currency and virtual items
- Gold, gear, emblems, cosmetics, levels and any other virtual goods exist only inside the Game. They have no monetary value and are not your property, redeemable for cash, or convertible into anything of real-world value.
- You receive a limited licence to use them inside the Game. That licence ends when your account ends.
- We may change, rebalance, expire, remove, reset or wipe virtual items and currency at any time, including for game-balance reasons, and we are not required to compensate you for doing so.
- The Game currently offers no real-money purchases. If we introduce them, we will publish separate purchase terms covering pricing, refunds and your statutory consumer rights before you can buy anything.
8. Availability, updates and beta features
The Game is under active development and is provided on an ongoing, evolving basis. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue any feature, game mode, server or the entire Game at any time; we may run maintenance that makes it unavailable; and we may reset progression during development or testing periods. We will try to give reasonable notice of major changes, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access, with immediate effect, if you breach these terms, if your conduct risks harm to other players or to the Game, or if we are required to do so by law. You may stop playing and delete your account at any time. When an account ends, so does your licence to the Game and to all virtual items associated with it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination - including sections 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15 - will continue to apply.
10. Intellectual property
The Game, including its code, artwork, sprites, characters, music, sound, text and the Colossal Arena name and logo, is owned by the Colossal Arena team or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited licence in section 4, nothing in these terms gives you any right to use our intellectual property.
You may create screenshots, videos and streams of your own gameplay, including monetised videos on platforms such as YouTube or Twitch, provided you do not imply official endorsement, do not distribute our assets separately from that content, and do not use our material in a way that is misleading or unlawful. If you believe content in the Game infringes your copyright, contact us at support@colossalarena.com with enough detail to identify the work and the material in question, and we will review it promptly.
11. Third-party services
The Game relies on third-party services, including Google Firebase for accounts and data storage and YouTube for embedded video. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, or for websites that other players link to in chat.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law where you live.
13. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Colossal Arena team and its team from any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) brought by a third party and arising out of your breach of these terms, your misuse of the Game, or content you submitted.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Canadahave exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute - except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your own country's law and may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law gives you that right. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us at support@colossalarena.com; most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.
16. General
- Changes - we may update these terms; we will change the "last updated" date and, for material changes, give notice in the Game. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
- Severability - if any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
- No waiver - not enforcing a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment - you may not assign these terms; we may assign them to a successor of the Game.
- Entire agreement - these terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the Game.
